East Port Said Development – EP is thrilled to announce a significant development poised to transform Egypt’s grain storage landscape! This morning, H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, witnessed the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that allocates land for a new factory in the East Port Said Industrial Zone. This factory will design, manufacture, and construct grain silos, their components, and accessories. The agreement marks a partnership between Feerum Egypt for Silos and Storage, a company specializing in grain storage solutions, and East Port Said Development. The ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Waleid Gamal Eldien, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) , and signed by Engineer Daniel Janusz, President of the Board of Feerum SA and a member of the board of Feerum Egypt for Silos and Storage, and Engineer Karim Sami Saad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of East Port Said Development . Under this agreement, Feerum Egypt is to establish a factory for designing, manufacturing, and constructing grain silos and their components and accessories, as well as all necessary installation, operation, maintenance, and management for its own account and for others, in the industrial area in East Port Said, with a total area of 51,950 square meters and investments of 1.6 Billion EGP. This is in collaboration with Feerum S.A. from Poland and Egyptian partners, including Samcrete Holding, which has undertaken numerous silo projects in several governorates, and the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage.
